Dwayne Stocks

Shoalhaven, NSW

"This voucher has enabled us to purchase a new irrigation controller and replace damaged irrigation pipe and our ferns are now receiving regular water.

We also lost our fern propagation house in the fire. The voucher has also been used to help rebuild our propagation house where our future stock is stored. We have already populated it with a new batch of baby plants so our future pipeline is now in place. I’d just like to thank all those involved in helping to make this happen for us. It has been a ray of light in what has been a very difficult year for us.’’

Scott Herring

Cobargo, NSW

“Having this compressor has been essential for helping get my business back up and running after the fires. I use it on a regular basis for cleaning my chainsaws and other equipment. Having the voucher available meant that I could take advantage of a good deal from a local supplier at the time. The BCA have made it easy to buy essential equipment as I need to and be reimbursed later.

Thanks in advance for this very amazing initiative from the BCA. It makes a real difference.’’

Mick Guersen

Kangaroo Island, SA

“The generosity of people... it just helps you get out of bed in the morning and face the re-building.”

Gregg, Kay and Gemma Saarinen

Bega Valley, NSW

“Thank you very much to the BizRebuild team for the vouchers. We have spent the $500 with our bookkeeper (who is a local small business), to get up to date with our BAS and tax, after dropping the ball in these areas after bushfires and coronavirus. The $2,000 we used to replace bushfire impacted fencing, we purchased at our local Wyndham General Store 4 km down the road. All voucher money we received from BizRebuild was spent at a very local level. We just would like to express our gratitude to people and departments for coming up with this assistance for us and our region. It really means a lot to our business and family.

Thank you.’’

Liz Innes

Mayor, Eurobodalla Shire Council

“Things have definitely changed for the better around here. We’d just started recovering from the fires and welcoming tourists back, then we had to shut it all down for COVID. That was pretty tough, but now the restrictions are lifted, we welcomed everyone and they came in huge numbers for the long weekend. We’re staying positive and good times are ahead. I couldn’t be happier with all BizRebuild has done here in Eurobodalla Shire – you guys have been great.”

Dave Braniff

Towong Shire, VIC

“It makes such a difference to be assisted in this way and to know that we are supported and encouraged. The fires hit very hard, but so many times since we are reminded of the elements we cherish in our Australian society.

So again, thank you.’’

Stephanie Wurst

Kangaroo Island, SA

“The feedback from the community has been that they are overwhelmingly thankful for the vouchers. The primary producers of Kangaroo Island have asked me to express their thankfulness to you all for this initiative.”

Averill Berryman

Mogo, NSW

“BizRebuild’s Mogo pop up mall is so good for my heart. It is a lift for the soul really. It’s been a very depressing kind of atmosphere and then these guys came up with this idea and it just changed everything.’’

Lorena Granados

Mogo, NSW

“It is an elated feeling to see a light at the end of the tunnel [with the completion of the donated Mogo pop up mall]. It gives us hope and it gives us something to look forward to which is fantastic.’’

Batlow, NSW

I would like to thank BizRebuild very kindly for approving my voucher. It is something I feel essentially has helped me to advertise to let my customers & the local communities know I have no reopened and ready to service their requirements. Without this voucher, it would be a much longer haul to recovery for my business. Thank you BizRebuild for you kind generosity.
